Peter Jones Great playing - inspiring drumming - with a great sense of fun. The production is also very good - good sound and capturing the live feel. Favorite track: Eternal search.

musicluvr I bought this for the live tracks, and to finish out my collection. I wasn't expecting all the nice photos included in the download. That's at least as valuable to me as the music itself. And "Jam" on. Rich deep bass, tight drums, and just solid psychedelic riffs that make me close me eyes. Also the space this was recorded in is quite evident in the recording - another bonus. I really really dig the acoustics of the room. I hope they release a double live album someday. ;-) Favorite track: Jam.

about

Live in Vermel club, Moscow, 19.08.2010

"Riffing in a golden 70s' style... The group, holding the traditions of that decade high, pride themselves on two core virtues: an enduring display of top-notch musicianship and, conversely, the absence of overdubs. Skill and spontaneity predominate, each supporting the other. As a result, these stoner or southern rock compositions becomes a direct, no-nonsense statement in favor of an existing custom. Venerable conventions of forty years ago, performed live, need neither lyrical statement nor unmotivated innovation. The greatest respect for a rock canon is shown precisely by that stance - of insistent faith, rather than pointless (or profitable) novelty." – by David MacFadyen of Far From Moscow (USA) (December 2010).

The Re-Stoned город Москва, Russian Federation

THE RE-STONED – is an instrumental power trio from Moscow, Russia, which is generally considered by many as a 'psychedelic stoner rock' underground act because of the band's remarkable heavily fuzzed guitar sound, that is empowered by confident old-school muscular riffing. ... more
